Description

This active 50 foot USB extension cable consists of a USB A male on one end and a USB A female on the other end. It is used to extend the distance between a USB 2.0 device and a computer. Unlike passive extension cables, this USB active extension cable has bus powered circuitry which enables it to reach distances beyond the length limits of standard passive USB cables. This 50 foot extension has a repeater located approximately in the middle of the cable. See image for measurements.

This cable is directional and will only work when the male end is connected to the computer and the female end is connected to the device.
