This converter consists of a HDMI input, a VGA output and a component RCA audio output. It is used to convert a HDMI digital video signal to a analog VGA video signal and a analog audio signal. A typical application would be to connect a DVD or Blu-Ray player to a projector or monitor with a VGA connection.
